But what they got this time was an explosion, pieces of hot PVC pipe flying through the air and a Heavenly Father's protection.
One has 4 stitches, cuts, bruises and abrasions.
One has butterfly bandages, cuts, bruises, abrasions and burnt arm hair.
The now missionary--not hurt.
Upon further inspections, the pieces of pvc pipe were shattered. Dagger like pieces, shards, chunks. The consequences could have been... I don't want to go there.
What these 3 and their families are grateful for is the protection. Sometimes our blessings come in what did not happen.
I am grateful to Heaven Father for protecting Emily, who was holding the camera. The camera which was destroyed in the explosion (so no great video). Enjoy these lovely pictures of Emily's right finger, hand and arm. And by the way, did you know gauze pads, medical tape and bandages are expensive??
Once she is all healed, does anyone know how to help her scars fade??

Yes, I did know that stuff was expensive, as a result of my husband's bike wreck last year... and they have sooooo many products available for scars today. Just ask the pharmacist where the Mederma is and look at all the products. We used a stick that rubs on like chapshick, only much bigger (can't remember what it is called though) Poor Emily! Best wishes on a fast recovery!
