4th of July Weekend

We had a fun but interesting holiday weekend at our cabin.  No Heber fireworks this 4th of July.  With the extreme fire danger they were cancelled.  And we were missing Emily and Colin who both had to work the weekend.  But we still had the parade, Indian fry bread, kettlecorn, a fun barbeque at the Slade's, Harry falling down the stairs (he's ok), catching a little grey mouse in the kitchen (he's not ok),
thunder, rain, hail and Payson's fireworks on the way home.

Here's Harry all decked out in his 4th of July apparel.
Shirt and hat from Old Navy, shorts made by Amy.

Harry loves to walk and walk and walk.
With some running and jumping in between.
Lissa and I took turns roaming the park path with him
while we waiting for the parade to start.

Lissa got us some kettle corn.
Harry made sure everyone got some.
But he wanted to hold the bag.
What a SWEET face.

Harry and Papa kept looking to see
if the parade was coming.

Amy tried to show him how to put his hand
over his heart when the flag went by.
He didn't quite get it, so he folded his arms
and was reverent.

Fire trucks with sirens blaring.

Too loud for his little ears.

Harry loves horses.
He kept asking when the horses were coming.

He waved to all the floats.

Harry and Mom relaxing after the parade.

Such busy days.
One exausted little boy.
My cute little bug.
